The Black Cherry, originally named Prunus serotina, can be found more or less around Canada down through the eastern part of the United States. To recognize it it is mainly a deciduous tree, making it a plant very different from others. The Black Cherry (Prunus serotina) has flowers that are white flowers and the fruits it has are rounded, purplish-red drupe. Its bark is very interesting, where a special pattern can be found, brown, slender stems on it.
