The Carolina Hemlock, also called in Latin Tsuga canadensis, is normally found around eastern North America. It is usually shaped as a needle evergreen, making it a plant very different from others. In the summer, more or less, its foliage is leaves are spirally arranged, but are held in a 2-ranked fashion and in the automn its foliage is specially evergreen, no fall color. The Carolina Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) grows flowers that are monoecious, with male and female flowers and its fruits are more or less small cones, about 0.5" to 1.0" long.
