The Common Broom, originally named Cytisus scoparius, lives around central and southern Europe. It can generally be recognized as 4' to 6' tall deciduous shrub, making it a very special plant among others! In the summer, a special form of foliage appears, more or less deciduous and in the automn its foliage is specially fall color not ornamentally important. The Common Broom (Cytisus scoparius) has flowers that are blooms in May and into early June and the fruits it has are 1.5" to 2" pea-like pods.
