In the summer, its foliage is more or less deciduous leaves in an alternate arrangement and in the automn its foliage then is no fall color change to speak of. The Common Pearlbush (Exochorda racemosa) has flowers that are 5-petaled and white and grows fruits that are a brown capsule about 0.33" wide. It has a beautiful Bark, where a special pattern can be found, a mix of grays, browns and oranges on it. An interesting information to note about the way it is cultured would be that sometimes tricky to transplant However, an inconvinient with the Common Pearlbush can be that spectacular in flower, but less impressive during the rest of the year We can easily identify Exochorda racemosa with its showy white flowers.
