The Eastern Arborvitae, originally named Thuja occidentalis, i usually found close to northeastern North America. It is usually shaped as a scale-leaved evergreen, making it a plant very different from others. In the summer, more or less, its foliage is leaves are small and scale-like (2mm long) and in the automn it generally looks like foliage discolors to yellowish-green and even somewhat brown at times. The Eastern Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis) also has flowers being not of any ornamental significance and grows fruits that are small cones with thin, overlapping scales.
