The Franklin Tree, which is also referred as Franklinia alatamaha, is normally found around southeastern United States. To recognize it it is mainly a small deciduous tree, making it a plant very different from others. In the summer, its leafs are changing looking like alternate leaf arrangement and in the automn it is more or less orange-red fall color. The Franklin Tree (Franklinia alatamaha) has beautiful flowers that are white flowers and the fruits it has are dry rounded fruit. It has a special bark, where we can find branches low on trunk on it. A fact to point at regarding the way it is cultured is that prefers well-drained, rich, acidic soil However, a bad thing with the Franklin Tree can be that root rot It can be easy to recognize a Franklinia alatamaha with its pubescent, grayish terminal buds.
