The Okame Cherry, in Latin Prunus x incam 'Okame', i usually found close to hybrid between
P. incisa. To recognize it it is mainly a small, deciduous tree, making it an uncommon plant! In the summer, its foliage changes to a new form, more or less alternate leaf arrangement and in the automn it generally looks like copper, orange, yellow fall color. The Okame Cherry (Prunus x incam 'Okame') has flowers that are pink, single flowers with red flower parts and the fruits it has are not commonly seen. It has a beautiful Bark, where a special pattern can be found, showy on it. Something that is noticeable to know about the way it is cultured would be that full sun to part shade However, an inconvinient with the Okame Cherry can be that canker worm We can easily identify Prunus x incam 'Okame' with its small, deciduous tree. The Okame Cherry's propagation is done in a special way since it is mainly done cuttings
