The Osage-orange, known in its Latin name to be Maclura pomifera, i usually found close to Southeastern United States. It usually looks like a deciduous medium-sized tree, making it a plant very different from others. In the summer, its foliage is more or less simple, deciduous leaves and in the automn it can be described as yellow-green to golden. The Osage-orange (Maclura pomifera) has beautiful flowers that are dioecious and grows fruits, characterized as large, pale, yellow synocarp of drupes. It has a special bark, where we can see brown coloring on it. An interesting information to note about its culture is that easily transplant However, a bad thing with the Osage-orange can be that spines cover stems We can easily recognize a Maclura pomifera with its deciduous tree. The Osage-orange's propagation is pretty interesting since it does it by softwood cuttings
