The Red Pine, also called in Latin Pinus resinosa, lives around the Northeastern United States, from Pennsylvania to Canada and west into parts of Michigan. It is usually shaped as evergreen tall tree, making it a beautiful plant In the summer, a special form of foliage appears, more or less brittle and sharp-pointed needles and in the automn its foliage then is no fall color (remains green). The Red Pine (Pinus resinosa) also has flowers being monoecious and grows fruits that are light brown cone. An interesting thing is its bark, where we can see a combination of orange-red, brown, and slivery gray on it. An interesting information to note about the way it is cultured would be that prefers a dry, loose, sandy soil with a low pH However, an inconvinient with the Red Pine can be that not tolerant of wind or salt You can recognize a Pinus resinosa with its needles in pairs, twisted and serrated, that have a tufted appearance. The Red Pine's propagation is very special since it performs it seeds germinate very easily, no dormancy period required
