The Scots Pine, which is also referred as Pinus sylvestris, i usually found close to the Europe, from Norway to Spain, and to parts of Asia. It usually looks like evergreen tree, making it a beautiful plant In the summer, the form of its leafs is more or less stiff, serrated, green to blue-green needles and in the automn it is more or less no fall color (evergreen). The Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) grows flowers that are monoecious and grows fruits that are dull brown cone, 1" to 3" long. An interesting characteristic it has is its bark, where we can find gray-brown, but peels to show a red-orange color on it. A fact to point at about its culture would be that prefers a well-drained, acidic soil However, another characteristic with the Scots Pine can be that needles are sharp to the touch We can easily recognize a Pinus sylvestris having its needles have a 360 degree twist.
