The Shantung Maple, referenced in Latin as Acer truncatum, can be found more or less around China, Manchuria and Korea. It can generally be recognized as deciduous, making it a beautiful plant In the summer, its leafs are changing looking like opposite, 3" to 5" wide and not as long and in the automn its foliage is specially usually yellow and orange with some red. The Shantung Maple (Acer truncatum) grows flowers that are greenish yellow in May and its fruits are more or less samaras, 1.25" to 1.5" long. It has a special bark, where we see gray brown on older branches and trunk on it.
