The Sourwood, which has for Latin name Oxydendrum arboreum, is normally found around southeastern United States, as far north as Pennsylvania. It is usually shaped as deciduous, small to medium-sized tree, making it a very special plant among others! In the summer, its foliage is more or less leaves are alternate and in the automn its foliage then is very good for fall color.
