The Yellow Poplar, also called in Latin Liriodendron tulipifera, lives around the eastern United States. It normally look like a large, deciduous tree, making it a plant very different from others. In the summer, its foliage looks like alternate deciduous leaves and in the automn it can be described as can be very showy. The Yellow Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) has beautiful flowers that are 2" to 3" long, tulip-shaped, upright blossoms and grows fruits, characterized as a cone-shaped aggregate fruit.
